Vintage Gannochy 12g Rapid Loader, with capacity for 100 catridges. Lightweight metal frame stitched into a best bridle leather carrier with a 3″ navy canvas shoulder strap. Outer carrier stamped N.R.G. Made of dark brown best bridle leather. In very good original condition.
The original Gannochy dates back to 1905, when McArthur & Prain launched their ‘GANNOCHY RAPID LOAD’ cartridge dispenser (Patent No. 17825 of 1905). The name ‘Gannochy’ is from the Scottish estate where Mr. McArthur was the head keeper.
