Vintage Gannochy 12g Rapid Loader, with capacity for 50 catridges. Lightweight metal frame stitched into a best bridle leather carrier with a 2″ navy canvas shoulder strap. Outer carrier stamped R.H Made of dark brown best bridle leather with contrasting yellow stitching. In very good original condition.
The original Gannochy dates back to 1905, when McArthur & Prain launched their ‘GANNOCHY RAPID LOAD’ cartridge dispenser (Patent No. 17825 of 1905). The name ‘Gannochy’ is from the Scottish estate where Mr. McArthur was the head keeper.
