A best James Purdey & Sons Double Rifle Oak & Leather Case, made for .300 calibre rifle with 25 1/2″ barrels. Oak carcass, best bridle leather outer with brass protective corners and fittings. Red baise internally with paper James Purdey & Sons case label, lid stamped J.H.S along with vacant brass disc. New handle and straps fitted. Case could be altered to take side-by-side shotgun with up to 27″ barrels.
