Purdey Lightweight Best Sidelock Ejector

We are pleased to offer for sale this 12 gauge side by side James Purdey & Sons Lightweight Best Sidelock Ejector. This lovely Purdey shotgun has 27″ barrels, 2 1/2″ chambers and is choked 1/8 & 3/4.

This James Purdey & Sons Lightweight Best Sidelock Ejector has a well figured 14 1/2″ straight hand stock to a chequered end with gold oval. Built on the Purdey self-opening action with rolled-edge trigger guard, bouquet & scroll engraving with the action & lockplates retaining much of the original colour hardening.

Weight 6lb. 2oz.

This shotgun is presented in a makers leather case with canvas outer cover. The gun was completed in 1931 and remains in very good original condition.
